Chocolate as ART

so i actually sat down and watched the food channel the other day and watched a chocolate competition. it was actually really interesting. there were about four "well-known" chefs competing against eachother. they each had to create their own interpretation of the word "dream" by using chocolate. it was amazing some of the things they came up with and i am sure they had to practice all of that before hand.

one of the chefs did "the american dream" which included eagle wings, the flag, and all sorts of patriotic symbolism. other chefs took a more literal approach by making chocolate statues of dream catchers or marble clouds.

it was pretty entertaining and i am curious as to what they did with all that chocolate when they were done....
mmmmm!!! i want chocolate!

I love watching the food channel because it's people creating masterpieces that i won't even attempt. I have always wondered what they do when the competitions are done...i'm always available if they need to dispose of it...
